A wonderful B&B with clean and well equipped rooms in the converted old stable building. We were given a very warm welcome. A piece of cake was waiting for us at the reception. Chris, the owner and all the staff were very nice. A great starting point for tours into the scenic Yorkshire and on the way to Scotland. Excellent breakfast!

The place had a charming historical character, blending rustic charm with contemporary touches. The outdoor space was lovely for unwinding after a long day, and the breakfast spread was one of the best I've encountered, full of fresh fruit and cooked items worth getting out of bed for.
Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was a bit haphazard, which could be a hassle if you're relying on it for work. The shower water fluctuated in temperature during peak usage, which might annoy those looking for a consistent rinse. Getting to the driveway was tricky with unclear signage. I missed it the first time. Parking can feel a bit cramped during busy periods, and while the rooms were cozy, they might be on the snug side for folks who like more space.

We did not want to leave, recommend. The small hotel was faultless. Our rooms were immaculate and incredible with a full length mirror, TV, as example as expected. The location was unbeatable - near restaurants and pubs. Loved the great area. There was plenty of restaurants and pubs to choose from. The service was absolutely excellent.

I had a cozy stay in a beautifully decorated room, and loved the peaceful garden area for unwinding.

The parking situation was laughably inadequate, but who doesn't love a good game of car Tetris? The water in the shower was lukewarm, not what i paid for. I nearly received a welcome gift, but mysteriously that didn't happen. Maybe next time I'll just bring my own. Oh wait, there shouldn't be a next time, right?

The room was fab, super warm and cozy on a cold night, and the breakfast was one of the best with tons of fresh fruit. Super nice chill lounge area. Chris and the staff were just so friendly.
Shower water was sometimes a bit lukewarm, but it wasn't a big deal. I wish there were more variety in the room snacks available.

Chris was an amazing host who stayed up late so I could check in after a long drive and made sure I was all set in my comfy room. I loved relaxing in the cozy lounge and the peaceful garden area . The bed was a little softer than I like, but that's just my personal choice! 😊
